Enghouse Networks, a global enabler in telecommunications and media solutions, in collaboration with startelelogic, a leading of digital transformation and communications technology solutions, announced the on-premise deployment of a high-performance Mobile Number Portability (MNP) platform for Reliance Communications (RCom), a global telecommunications provider.
The deployment marks a significant milestone in enhancing RCom’s core telecom infrastructure, delivering scalability, performance, and compliance with the latest MNP standards.

The newly deployed platform is engineered to handle up to 1 billion ported subscribers and supports over 1,000 transactions per second (TPS), ensuring seamless and efficient number portability for both mobile and fixed-line networks. The solution supports multiple telecom protocols including INAP, MAP, and ISUP, enabling unified number portability (NP) functionality across IMS, NGN, and legacy networks.
Built on Dialogic DSI STP technology, the platform incorporates a range of advanced features:
Embedded Web Services APIs for accelerated application integration and development,
Advanced screening capabilities for complex routing scenarios, and
Integrated local number portability databases, enabling autonomous operation without dependency on external systems.
Vinay Maheshwari, Chief Business Officer at Reliance Communications Inc., commented: “In today’s dynamic telecom environment, seamless number portability is vital for enhancing customer experience and maintaining competitive edge. With this deployment, we reaffirm our commitment to delivering reliable, enterprise-grade connectivity solutions. We commend startelelogic’s technical depth and collaborative approach, which were instrumental in the successful delivery of this project.”
This strategic implementation provides Reliance Communications with increased control over its number portability services, enabling greater data sovereignty, enhanced security, and improved operational agility – all within a secure, locally managed environment.
Umesh Pande, Co-founder at startelelogic, added: “We are proud to collaborate with Reliance Communications and Enghouse Networks on this critical initiative. This deployment exemplifies our ability to design and deliver robust, future-proof telecom platforms that meet stringent enterprise requirements. Our continued investment in R&D and telecom engineering positions us as a trusted technology partner for mission-critical infrastructure.”
SN Srinivas, Regional Sales Director – APAC at Enghouse Networks, said: “We are pleased to partner with startelelogic and the Reliance Communications team to deploy a resilient and scalable MNP platform. This collaboration reflects our shared commitment to enabling advanced telecom capabilities for global operators through secure and reliable software infrastructure.”
Stephen Gould, Senior Director, Signalling at Enghouse Networks, added: “The built-in flexibility of the Dialogic DSI STP makes it an ideal choice for MNP deployments, which typically require additional customization.”
