At next month’s LoRaWAN World Expo, Wyld Networks will be joined by its partner Eutelsat to showcase the new Wyld Connect sensor-to-satellite solution that will deliver 100% global LoRaWAN connectivity at low cost and low power, by using Eutelsat Low Earth Orbiting (LEO) satellites.
Wyld and Eutelsat will also be announcing the launch of commercial data trials of for the sensor-to-satellite service along with the first customers and partners including Chevron, DFM Technologies, DEWA, Senet and American Tower.
Wyld Connect will collect data from any location, no matter how remote, using terrestrial or satellite LoRaWAN connectivity, making it ideal for applications in areas such as agriculture, environmental monitoring, energy, supply chain and utilities.
LoRaWAN is enabling digital transformation as the only Low Power Wide Area Network (LPWAN) able to scale and combine existing terrestrial networks with direct sensor-to-satellite connectivity. Wyld and Eutelsat will deliver the network capacity and sensor-to-satellite LoRaWAN terminals and modules needed to ignite exponential growth in global IoT usage.
LoRaWAN World Expo is the largest LoRaWAN conference and one of the most significant annual events in the IoT Calendar, featuring IoT’s leading organisations exhibiting technologies that will increase global sustainability, security, and efficiencies for the planet and its people. Luc Perard, Senior Vice President, IoT Business at Eutelsat, will be joining the panel for the ‘Satellite’ session at 2.30 on the second day, July 7. The Expo is also a great opportunity to network with enterprises, device makers, system integrators, distributors, developers, solution providers, educational institutions, IoT alliances and influencers.
“LoRaWAN World Expo is the flagship event for LoRaWAN IoT,” says Luc Perard, Head of IoT at Eutelsat. “We are excited to be exhibiting with our partners at Wyld Networks as we look to accelerate massive global adoption of IoT.”
“Wyld is delighted to share a stand with our partners at Eutelsat,” added Alastair Williamson, CEO of Wyld Networks. “We are looking forward to engaging with the global LoRaWAN IoT community at its most important annual gathering.”
