i3forum, a not-for-profit industry body enabling and accelerating transformation across the carrier ecosystem, has welcomed Athalos, a global communications solution provider, as its newest member.
The expert in call centres, charity and global voting will bring new insights and expertise to i3forum, as it continues to drive momentum for collaboration across the telecommunications industry.
Athalos provides a voice-cloud ecosystem for global communications and fundraising services. Its voice platform is now in development and has over 1 billion unique global telephone numbers. It enables clear, transparent communication and connection between people globally.
As an i3forum member, Athalos can collaborate in work groups with other providers in the carrier community to solve key industry challenges in voice and messaging.
“The addition of Athalos as our newest member brings a unique perspective to our work groups and fuels momentum for industry-wide collaboration,” said Philippe Millet, Chairman of i3forum. “We have been seeing consistent member growth despite the difficulties of 2020, and we are looking forward to Athalos joining the i3forum community with new insights and developments in voice and messaging. This has been a challenging year for all kinds of businesses and has shown that collaboration is more important than ever.”
i3forum has launched a variety of different initiatives to accelerate transformation across the carrier ecosystem, including i3forum Insights, its comprehensive and operationally relevant market database for international voice services designed and managed by i3forum members. On top of this, it recently launched a new Messaging Fraud work group to fight A2P messaging fraud across the telecoms ecosystem through insights, knowledge and collaboration from industry leaders.
“At Athalos, we believe in making the world a better place for all through global communications. We are dedicated to providing global enterprise, fundraising services and communication services to empower our customers, and joining the i3forum is a great step forward for our business,” said Martijn van der Ven, Founder & CEO at Athalos. “We are excited to share our knowledge and insights to collaborate for success in the industry with like-minded communications players.”
i3forum’s work groups are created based on membership input, industry insight and Board priorities. Work groups agree their own objectives, timeline and organisation, collaborating to support the industry with crucial research across a range of industry-relevant topics.
