From November, TIM consumer and business landline customers, who have not yet set up a direct debit as payment method for their phone bill, can use the pagoPA platform to pay their bills immediately and safely.
Through the pagoPA alert, that will be introduced gradually in November and fully operational in December, our customers can decide how and where to pay, and choose their preferred payment method and their most convenient payment service provider (PSP).
Payments can be made using a smartphone, with the IO App or other payment apps by simply scanning the QR code, or inserting the pre-printed alert code to ensure a safer and more straightforward user experience. Alternatively, on receiving the pagoPA alert, customers can pay using home banking and other online services, or via affiliated dealers around the country.
The solution, in line with the Operazione Risorgimento Digitale project, aims at speeding-up ongoing cultural change and follows the company's vision based on digital transformation and multi-channel services.
This new initiative will further increase the number of payment methods available for phone bills, which, in addition to TIM’s digital channels, leverage the integration of the pagoPA platform with physical channels including bank branches, post offices, ATMs, lottery retailers, tobacconists and supermarkets.
