Nokia and Orange has announced a new collaboration focused on developing and evaluating artificial intelligence radio access network (AI-RAN) technologies powered by Nokia’s anyRAN 5G software and NVIDIA AI infrastructure. The initiative aims to explore how emerging AI-RAN capabilities can enhance network performance, energy efficiency and enable new services for Orange customers.

As part of its ambitious environmental strategy aiming to achieve net zero carbon emissions by 2040, Orange is intensifying its actions to reduce the carbon footprint of its value chain. Launched in July 2024 and reaffirmed in the new strategic plan "Trust the Future", the Partners to Net Zero Carbon program embodies a collaborative approach essential to mobilize the Group's strategic suppliers around common decarbonization objectives.
