On July 18, 2026, at 12:05 PM IST, India's private space sector achieved a historic milestone. Skyroot Aerospace's Vikram-1 rocket lifted off from the Satish Dhawan Space Centre in Sriharikota, successfully deploying multiple payloads into a 450 km low-Earth orbit approximately 15 minutes later.
