Ericsson and Yas Tanzania have announced the first commercial deployment in Africa of Ericsson’s AIR 3285 radio, supporting a major step forward in network performance and user experience across the country.

Under the patronage and the presence of His Excellency Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, Prime Minister of Egypt, Ericsson and the Information Technology Industry Development Agency (ITIDA) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), to reinforce collaboration over a three-year period and support the development of Egypt's Information and Communications Technology (ICT) and digital services industries.
