Smartron’s latest smartphone offering - the srt.phone is named after master blaster Sachin Tendulkar, who is also the brand ambassador for Smartron and has been an early investor in the company as well. We recently reviewed the device while in Singapore.

Smartron’s srt.phone is available in two storage variants, and both sport 4GB of RAM. The 32GB storage version costs Rs 12,999 while the 64GB storage one is priced at Rs 13,999. Both versions of the phone are available at Flipkart.com.

Design and Display
This smartphone comes with wide display, rounded edges, and dual speaker grille at the bottom. When it comes to design, this device offers a good package on its price point. As the company believes in delivering the edge of technology to its users, Smartron srt.phone has already moved on to Type-C USB charging.
When it comes to display, the srt.phone comes with a 5.5-inch full HD display, which is delivering great results. While reviewing the product while in Singapore – we were able to see great color combinations. The blacks are deep enough, and overall the display is bright. The display works fine in sunlight as well and readability is not an issue. Watching YouTube videos on this device is a wonderful delight.
Centurion Performance
The Smartron srt.phone comes with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage (the one that we reviewed), and it runs on Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 octa-core processor. This combination of hardware is powering this phone’s centurion performance. And as a result, while we reviewed this during our trip to Singapore – this phone did not lag anywhere and delivered a great performance experience.
The clean, stock Android UI that Smartron has adopted works well to ensure that the phone’s animations are fluid, and there’s very little lag.
Camera Performance
Srt.phone comes with a 13MP rear camera and the front camera is 5MP. The camera performance is quite good and it responds quickly in the auto mode, and delivers bright images, while reviewing the device, we found out that the outdoor performance of this phone’s camera is really outstanding. The colours, and the overall picture composition is filled with great details – giving a wonderful camera experience.
Smartron srt.phone comes with a 3000 mAh battery, and Type-C USB charging is supported as well. With moderate to heavy usage a user can easily be able to make this last for 10 to 12 hours.
Final Verdict
Smartron’s srt.phone is built around the Sachin Tendulkar brand name and delivers equally compelling performance. Considering its price point, this device is delivering great value for money. The overall performance and rear camera results are really good.
