From workshops, training opportunities to competitions, Ooredoo has been doing whatever it takes to support young people across Oman in kick-starting their futures as leaders and entrepreneurs.
Hoping to inspire future generations of groundbreakers at work, Ooredoo has launched the eighth edition of its Spring Forward workshop series.
The workshops, which are delivered by professional industry leaders and licensed trainers, aim to polish the professional skill set of young Omani women and men. Spring Forward training opportunities are perfect for participants to further gain the experience, skills and confidence to boost their careers!
Participants include employees from the Ministry of Health and Oman Women’s Sports Committee and Gender Equality. Launched by Ooredoo in April 2018, following the success of Springboard, a training programme for talented Omani women, Spring Forward is the company’s digital entrepreneurship and leadership programme and open to both men and women participants.
It aims to leverage the individual strengths of participants by providing dedicated coaching and support in building their teamworking and leadership skills, while group-based projects are a key component as well.
As part of Ooredoo’s commitment to giving back to the community, the Spring Forward and Springboard programmes fall under the company’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Goodwill umbrella, led by head of CSR, Ayesha Al Shoily, a licensed trainer for the initiatives. Both CSR programmes are regarded as a benchmark for successful public-private sector collaboration.
Ever since it launched these educational programmes several years ago, Ooredoo has provided professional development opportunities for nearly 10,000 Omani men and women. These initiatives have enabled participants to further build their skill sets, as the company works closely with industry leaders and licensed trainers to support the growth and development of individuals.
