3 Screen Solutions (3SS), a provider of software solutions for set-top boxes (STB), smart TV, multiscreen and in-vehicle entertainment, announces that One Hungary, Hungary·?s leading TV service provider and a member of the 4iG Group, has launched a major upgrade to its OneTV service, delivering next-generation television to more than 400,000 households across the country, without requiring customers to replace their existing set-top boxes.
The new service breathes life into devices more than a decade old, aligning with One Hungary·?s commitment to customer satisfaction and environmental sustainability.

One Hungary Taps 3SS to Reinvent TV Experience
In collaboration with 3SS, One Hungary introduced a next-gen user interface using the award-winning 3Ready product platform. Viewers now benefit from enhanced navigation, personalized recommendations, and streamlined content discovery ·? features previously thought exclusive to newer hardware.
This milestone marks a key moment in the transformation of One Hungary ·? formed through the integration of four major domestic telecom providers. As the consolidation continues into the second half of the year, One Hungary is emerging as the country·?s second-largest full-service (4P) telecommunications company. With a unified infrastructure and expanded capabilities, the company is set to serve both residential and the most demanding business customers at the highest standard. It represents the final phase of a comprehensive transformation program across the Group·?s telecom brands. By focusing on cost-efficiency and customer experience, the Group has modernized services without the environmental cost of hardware replacement.
The upgraded OneTV platform also integrates seamlessly with popular streaming services including Netflix, Prime Video, and YouTube, and supports deep-linking to regional content providers such as RTL+ and HBO Max, offering users a fully integrated entertainment experience.

In September 2023, it was announced that 4iG, through its then subsidiaries Vodafone Hungary, DIGI Hungary and Antenna Hungaria, appointed NAGRAVISION to lead migration to a next-generation multi-device TV service for its customers. 4iG deployed NAGRA OpenTV Video Platform to support linear TV, catch-up and nPVR for channels across all 4iG networks, including cable, IPTV, and OTT. The platform enables 4iG to become a super-aggregator across any combination of Live, SVOD, TVOD and, in the future, gaming, VR and other digital services.
