MTS, HP Join Hands to provide Free MBlaze Ultra WiFi Dongles with Purchase of HP Omni10 Tablets

Sistema Shyam TeleServices Limited (SSTL) that provides telecom services under the brand MTS has announced its latest offering which includes a FREE MBlaze Ultra WiFi dongle on purchase of HP Omni10 tablet that is priced at Rs. 27,990.

In addition to the FREE dongle, MTS is also offering customers FREE 200 MB of data usage every month for lifetime as well as accessories including a wall charger and an on-the-go (OTG) cable. The principal thought behind this initiative is to provide HP Omni10 customers with an enthralling data experience on MTS’ 3GPLUS telecom network.

As per Cyber Media Research’s report on tablet shipment for Q3, 2013, there is a clear preference for tablets having just Wi-Fi capability. In fact about 43% tablets being shipped in India are only WiFi enabled. Even tablets that are equipped with other forms of connectivity (2G/3G/4G) are all equipped with Wi-Fi, and customers clearly prefer to use Wi-Fi over other interfaces to access the internet. With operators focusing on 3G and 4G networks, MTS believes that Wi-Fi enabled mobile devices are a force to reckon with and MBlaze Ultra Wi-Fi dongle running on MTS’ 3GPLUS network can cater to all internet needs of the customers. The MBlaze Ultra Wi-Fi device is powered by MTS’ revolutionary 3GPLUS network and can connect multiple devices through Wi-Fi. The device offers download speeds of upto 9.8Mbps.

The HP Omni10 packs a 25.7-cm (10.1-inch) touchscreen, weighs about 600 grams and is 10.16 mm thick with 1920x1200 pixels Full HD resolution. The tablet is powered by Intel Atom Processor Z3770 Quad Core processor, 2GB DDR3 RAM and comes with free fully licensed Microsoft Office 2013 Home and Student software to enable increased productivity at work.  Additionally, the HP Omni10 comes with HP Connected Music which provides three months of unlimited music download and consumers can also purchase a variety of accessories including a folio case, Bluetooth keyboard and Bluetooth Mouse.
