The pioneer in personalized smart home services, Plume ®, has announced the agreement of two important new partnerships with which the company will sustainably expand its presence in the German market.
The Deutsche Glasfaser Group - Germany's leading fiber optic provider for rural areas - will offer its customers a large number of new, digital smart home services on the basis of this partnership. In addition, Plume is a cooperation with BREKO eG - the commercial platform of the Federal Association of Broadband Communication eV., Germany's leading fiber optic association, to offer Plume's services to more than 200 member companies.
The focus of the partnership with Deutsche Glasfaser is the implementation of the cloud-based and AI-controlled SaaS platform from Plume. The Plume platform is based on OpenSync ™, HomePass ™ and Haystack ™. HomePass is a next-generation services suite for the smart home.
Haystack, in turn, provides Internet providers with intelligent customer service tools and data analysis. The platform enables Deutsche Glasfaser to supplement its product portfolio with highly personalized service offers that improve the customer experience throughout the company. In addition, the open source framework OpenSync German glass fiber gives access to a flexible, cloud-based architecture that enables the rapid provision and scaling of Plume's digital services as well as next-generation customer support.
With the use of HomePass , Deutsche Glasfaser is building on its fast fiber-optic network with high bandwidths and offers its customers a variety of advantages, such as flawless WLAN connectivity, AI-controlled cybersecurity and protection of devices connected to the home network. In addition, customers can easily and effectively manage their home networks, including secure access controls, motion detection and much more.
Haystack includes customer support tools with real-time predictive analysis capabilities that enable Deutsche Glasfaser to proactively assist customers with support requests. Haystack has proven itself in practice [1] and contributes to significantly increasing customer satisfaction and significantly reducing the number of calls to technical support and technicians on site.
