Ericsson Names Daniel Tudose as Country Manager of Romania

Ericsson has announced the appointment of Daniel Tudose as Country Manager of Ericsson Romania and Key Account Manager for Ericsson Romania and Moldova, starting the 1st of November, 2024.

Daniel Tudose, Country Manager of Ericsson Romania and Key Account Manager for Ericsson Romania and Moldova, says: ”I am honored to be appointed in these roles and, at the same time, after an assignment of 2 years in Sweden, very happy for having the chance of returning to my home country. Ericsson has been present in Romania for the past 30 years, and I am looking forward to leading our strong team here. Together with our customers and partners, I am excited about the possibility to continue unlocking the limitless opportunities technologies such as 5G bring, driving Ericsson’s contribution to the digitalization and competitiveness of Romania and Moldova”.

Daniel Tudose has an extensive professional experience. For 15 years, he has worked in the company, and in the telecom industry, holding various leadership roles.

Since September 2022, Daniel has been based in Stockholm, Sweden, where he has been leading the Networks and Managed Services Operations for our Nordic and Baltic markets, and since July this year he has also assumed temporarily the same responsibilities for our entire Northern & Central Europe region. Previous positions he held include Head of Networks Operations, and Head of Presales and Delivery, Cloud Software and Services for Romania and Moldova, as well as other assignments in the South East Mediterranean region.

During 2022, he has also been an Advisor to Ericsson’s Global Executive Team, on topics related to emerging technologies and business models, cultural transformation, and Diversity & Inclusion.

Daniel Tudose holds an Executive Master of Business Administration from WU Executive Academy Bucharest, as well as a Master’s and Bachelor’s Degree from the Faculty of Economic Cybernetics, Statistics and Business Informatics, part of the Bucharest University of Economic Studies.

Daniel Tudose will take over the role from Dragoș-Mircea Rebegea, who previously hold this position since 2017 and has been recently appointed Head of Sales for Global Customer Unit Vodafone at Ericsson. In his new role, Dragos will be based in UK and will be responsible for sales engagements across all of Ericsson’s product & services portfolio with Vodafone globally in Europe, Middle East and Africa.
