AWS has announced the general availability of AWS Wavelength in partnership with Orange in Casablanca, Morocco. With this first Wavelength Zone in North Africa, Independent Software Vendors (ISVs), enterprises, and developers can now use AWS infrastructure and services to support applications with data residency, low latency, and resiliency requirements.

AWS Wavelength Reaches Casablanca in Collaboration with Orange
AWS Wavelength offers the operational consistency, industry leading cloud security practices, and familiar tools for automation that are similar to an AWS Region. With AWS Wavelength in partnership with Orange, developers can now build the applications needed for use cases, such as AI/ML inference at the edge, gaming, and fraud detection.
AWS Wavelength offering helps in terms of building and deploying applications that meet data residency, security, and low-latency requirements leveraging AWS services and APIs for digital transformation and using familiar tools for automation, deployments, security, and operational consistency enabling customers to support telecom, finance, public sector, healthcare, and gaming use cases.
