ElevenPaths, the cybersecurity company part of Telefónica Tech, announced today that it has achieved Microsoft Gold Security Competency status.
By attaining the Security Competency, ElevenPaths validates that it has deep technical and managerial competence as well as the skills, experience, and credibility necessary to design, engineer, implement, and manage its customers’ information security programs based on Microsoft solutions to guard against today’s sophisticated cyberthreats.
Data security threats and regulatory compliance requirements are more challenging than ever, and talent adequately skilled in security is important. That means many organizations will count on partners to secure their business-critical systems and data. That’s why Microsoft introduced in 2019 the Security Competency in Partner Center, to recognize partners who have demonstrated advanced skill and capability in delivering security solutions on the Microsoft platform—and continue to enhance that capability.
The Security Competency distinguishes partners who are best prepared to help customers protect information, implement identity and access management, and defend against cybersecurity threats.
“We are very satisfied and proud to achieve this recognition, demonstrating in this way that we are well prepared to deliver managed security-related services on our customers Azure and Microsoft 365 deployments”, said Alberto Sempere, Director of Product and Go-to-market at ElevenPaths. “We have trusted security specialists with deep technical expertise and a proven track record helping customers develop and execute Microsoft security solutions.”
Earning Microsoft’s Security Competency status builds on ElevenPaths partnership with Microsoft and the new global framework for strategic collaboration between Telefonica and Microsoft. Last month ElevenPaths was awarded for the second consecutive year by Microsoft Iberia as Best Security Partner in Spain, as part of Microsoft 2020 Partner of the Year Awards at Microsoft Inspire annual event. Moreover in February of this year, Microsoft Corp. and Telefónica announced plans to further expand their global strategic partnership to accelerate digital transformation for public and private entities of all sizes. And six months after this strategic agreement to open a data center region in Spain to help accelerate the country's digital competitiveness, the two multinationals have already defined the first joint services that they will implement to help remove the entry barriers that Spanish SMEs face when they begin to digitize.
With this new achievement, ElevenPaths continues its goal of being the trusted partner and managed security service provider of choice for Telefonica clients to help them become more cyber-resilient in their digital transformation.
