It’s been 18 years since DICE launched the first game in the Battlefield series. Coming soon this year is the latest multiplayer-focused first-person shooter game, Battle 2042 Gameplay. It is no secret that Battlefield is a leading competitor for COD, PUBG, Six Siege, and many more. Therefore, game maniacs are on the watch for this new addition.
The entire series has different scenarios, backdrops, challenges, and features that attract every gamer and 2042 Gameplay is no exception. After the trailer released in June 2021, fans are going crazy to know what the game holds for them. The entire game is set in the future with no single-player campaign. Well, let’s quickly get into the details with no further delay!
The Battlefield 2042 Gameplay story
The entire story of Battlefield 2042 Gameplay is focused on the year 2042 when decades of devastation has led to severe climate change, and the European Union has collapsed. The earth is completely destroyed as 70% of the orbiting satellites collide into the surface, causing Kessler syndrome.
Since the European Union and WHO have collapsed, there is increased tension globally. It results in a war between two great nations, the United States and Russia. There is a severe shortage of food, resources, water, and shelter, leading to the greatest refugee crisis ever known.
War breaks out between the two nations. The Non-patriated, or No Pats, join the battle to topple both the nations and fight for a secured future of themselves. Well, now you know what you will be playing!
Battlefield 2042 Gameplay features
Most importantly, the upcoming game is entirely multiplayer. It is a multiplayer-focused first-person shooter game set in 2042 when war breaks between the US and Russia.
The game has futuristic weapons and gadgets like drones, deployable turrets, advanced guns, accessories, and armour. Players can also command vehicles constructed by the war nomads with waste plastic in the game as well as airdrop them whenever they need it! And guess what?
Players can customize weapons on the spot to face difficulties, but you have to unlock many levels for that.
The 2042 Gameplay has Levolution and destructive map environments from Battlefield 4. Additionally, it comes with rugged maps of extreme weather conditions, sand storms, tornadoes, and many more. You must not be surprised if you end up in Antarctica, fighting for oil!
BF2042 has come up with ten new specialist classes expanding the four specialist classes they had in all the preceding series. The specialists are assumed to be restricted to specific maps and sectors. The traditional four specialist classes, Assault, Engineer, Medic, and Recon, will work in every environment and would be able to wield weapons and gadgets unlocked.
Gameplay modes
Battlefield released three gameplay modes in this version. In Breakthrough gameplay mode, one team must sneak, fight, and capture the other team’s control points and destroy them while the other team only defends them.
In Conquest gameplay mode, teams fight against each other with different weapons and strategies to capture control points in a sector. Once one team captures the control points, that particular sector is under their domain. You can play both Breakthrough and Conquest game modes with the aid of artificial intelligence.
The All-Out Warfare gameplay mode is a mixture of both the other gameplay modes. It becomes exhilarating and extremely challenging to combat at the same time, capturing control points. For that, you need practice but if it’s getting harder, use BF2042 esp to win the game! This gameplay mode features 128 players if you play this game on PS5, PC, or Xbox Series X, while it features just 64 for other consoles.
The second mode, called the “Hazard Zone,” is more of a cooperative multiplayer mode that focuses on squad-based missions. DICE states that it is definitely not similar to Battle Royale but something more interesting and exciting. There is one more mode to be released soon!

Battlefield 2042 Gameplay has created humongous hype and excitement among the fans since June. It is releasing on October 22, 2021, and there is still one more gameplay mode yet to be revealed!
