U.S. Cellular has named Matt Sampson senior director of business sales solutions. In this newly created role, Sampson leads a team of regional business sales directors responsible for growing the company's customer base and ensuring businesses and governments are equipped with wireless technology and IoT solutions that can simplify and enhance their operations.
Sampson has worked at U.S. Cellular since 2000, and has held leadership roles in the company's customer care centers in Knoxville, Tenn., and Cedar Rapids and in the agent channel. He most recently served as director of business sales for Iowa and Nebraska.

Sampson, a Colesburg native who lives in Marion, and his wife have three daughters. He has a master's degree from Upper Iowa University.
