Vodafone has announced a new multi-year partnership with Boardmasters as its Official Connectivity Partner, adding another event to Vodafone’s growing music partnership portfolio, alongside other Superstruct festivals such as Kendal Calling and Mighty Hoopla.
Vodafone will be boosting its network on site to ensure festival-goers can stay connected to friends and family. In addition, ticket holders who are not Vodafone customers will have the opportunity to try out a Vodafone eSIM for the duration of the festival. This means more festivalgoers can experience the reliable, award-winning network and stay connected to friends and family.
Vodafone will be offering all ticket holders free charging facilities. Alternatively, those on site can stay powered-up throughout the festival by purchasing a fully-charged mobile power bank before and during the event. When the battery pack runs out, attendees can simply head to the Vodafone ‘Connect and Charge’ site to exchange it for a fully charged one.
Vodafone customers will have opportunities to win free festival tickets via its VeryMe Rewards programme available in the My Vodafone app. Festivalgoers at Boardmasters 2024 (7-11 August), located at one of the UK’s most picturesque locations on the Cornish coast, will have the chance to see unmissable acts like headliners Stormzy, Chase & Status (Live), Becky Hill, as well as Bicep, Nia Archives, Eliza Rose, Tom Odell and much more. Experiences and promotions will also be available to Vodafone customers on site.
Max Taylor, Chief Commercial Officer at Vodafone UK, said: “We’re excited to extend our partnership with Superstruct Entertainment to include Boardmasters to our thriving partnership portfolio. We will provide festivalgoers with the best possible experience on our reliable award-winning network.”
Andrew Topham, Founder at Boardmasters Festival, said: “Festivalgoers have the unique opportunity to experience Boardmasters across its two festival sites in Newquay, and therefore staying in touch with their friends is incredibly important. We’re delighted to be partnering with Vodafone to keep our fans connected and sharing memories next summer.”
Chris McCormick, Brand Partnerships Director at Superstruct UK, said: “We’re delighted to grow our partnership with Vodafone, which is a fantastic example of how brand partners connect with our audiences by enhancing the fan experience from the moment they buy a ticket through to the lifelong memories created at Boardmasters.”
The new partnership makes Vodafone the Official Connectivity Partner of a number of Superstruct festivals across the UK, including Boardmasters, Mighty Hoopla, and Kendal Calling. This exciting line-up will see Vodafone use its technology to enhance and amplify entertainment experiences and unlock access to some of the summer’s biggest events.
