Vietnam's VNPT wins smart tourism project in Thai Nguyen province

The Thai Nguyen provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism and VNPT Thai Nguyen have signed a strategic cooperation deal in order to promote IT application in the tourism sector and boost popularization on the provincial tourism images.

At the signing ceremony, VNPT introduced several smart tourism solutions and emphasized the important role of IT application to building high-quality tourism to better serve tourists and contributing to local sustainable economic development.

Under the agreement, VNPT Thai Nguyen will provide tourists with smart applications on cellphones to provide them with access to tourism information; building a tourism portal and means of accessing information for tourists.
