Turkcell selects P.I. Works’ uSON solution to drive superior subscriber experience

Turkcell, an integrated communication and technology services provider which serves about 66.5 million customers in Turkey and its region, has selected to deploy P.I. Works’ uSON (unified Self-Organizing-Networks) solution.

uSON automates management and optimization of complex mobile networks 24/7 to improve quality, capacity and coverage.

The fully automated uSON solution will help Turkcell drive following key business outcomes:

•Maximize network performance and deliver superior experience for its subscribers
•Increase operational efficiency through automation, and reduce network operational costs
•Optimize capacity of the existing infrastructure and maximize return on investments

Turkcell performed a detailed evaluation of uSON, including a short term project performed on Turkcell mobile network. They have shown that uSON’s superior traffic management functionality has led to significant improvements in network Key Performance Indicators including network accessibility and retainability. It has also improved subscriber experience in already high-performing Turkcell network.

uSON will be deployed in the networks of the following Turkcell Group companies: Turkcell in Turkey, lifecell in Ukraine, life:) in Belarus and KKTCell in Northern Cyprus.
