TomTom, the independent location technology specialist, announced the appointment of Werner Van Huyssteen as the new General Manager, India, based in Pune.
Werner replaces Barbara Belpaire who will head one of TomTom’s sites in Europe, and will be responsible for strengthening the site as the flagship location for digital mapmaking, engineering and software development.
Werner has been with TomTom for the last four years. In his previous roles, he was Head of Finance and Business Controller for the company's Maps, Traffic & NDS division at the Amsterdam, Netherlands, and headquarters. Prior to joining TomTom, Werner held various financial management positions at leading IT and banking companies.
