Alepo (www.alepo.com) – a global provider of core network and IT software solutions for communications service providers - has announced that Alepo’s longstanding partner Spectranet has called on Alepo to upgrade its 4G management platform for LTE services.

Spectranet will also upgrade to the latest version of Alepo’s BSS to support its Data Monetization strategy.

With the upgrade, Spectranet will be able to streamline business processes and operations. As part of the upgrade, Alepo will offer Spectranet its complete LTE and Data monetization solution alongwith certain customized features designed exclusively for the ISP.

With this upgrade, Spectranet will enjoy a responsive mobile-friendly web self-care, enhanced product catalog, enhanced trouble ticketing, architectural enhancements and much more. The upgrade will enable Spectranet to quickly create and launch app-, content-, and location-based offers and services, and increase customer satisfaction. In short, Spectranet’s customers will enjoy a better experience.

“At Spectranet, we are committed towards improving broadband penetration, promoting information and computer technology operations, and increasing customer satisfaction,” said David Venn, CEO of Spectranet. “With Alepo, we found a partner with the experience and innovation necessary to support our business as we expand our operations and offerings.”

Alepo will support delivery of a wide range of services, including data services for home and the SME sector. The solution is built to support existing services while deploying the enhanced network with no service interruption.

“We’re proud to be supporting Spectranet as their business evolves and grows,” said Shivani Sardesai, Director of Sales for Africa region at Alepo. “We’re confident that our solution will give the desired momentum to Spectranet to turn its vision into reality,” she added.

With a population of approximately 170 million coupled with the fact that large enterprises and SMEs are springing up in Nigeria, there is a great potential for 4G LTE in the country. In order to help Nigeria catch up fast with the developed countries of the world in the area of LTE technology innovation and accelerate the implementation of Nigeria's National Broadband Plan (NNBP), Alepo will continue to work very closely with Spectranet.
