Sparkle, that has been operating in Greece since 2001, offers its services through three proprietary Data Centers for a total space of 8,000 m2 and 6MW of power: two are located in the Athens area (Metamorphosis and Koropi) – where is originated the proprietary metropolitan fiber optic network running through the city business district and directly interconnecting corporate customers and institutional entities; a third one is located in Crete.

Sparkle's Greek Data Centers are also fully integrated in Nibble, the new Pan Mediterranean transport network, and in Seabone, Sparkle's IP/MPLS backbone tier Tier-1 backbone, and thus able to provide a complete range of ICT solutions, from colocation to cloud, to carrier-grade global connectivity services.

Sparkle is a market leader in the Greek Cloud and Data Center sector, with a 40% share in the colocation business and over one hundred customers including service providers, system integrators, institutions, local and multinational companies, in continuous growth.

Since 2019, Sparkle's Data Centers in Greece have been hosting the Syzefxis project for the evolution of the country's public administration ICT infrastructure. “We are developing a state-of-the art green Data Center to deliver an enhanced experience to our customers and build a long-lasting relationship as true partners, with a clear focus on environmental sustainability”, declares Mario Di Mauro, Sparkle’s Chief Executive Officer. “The project gives impetus to the Cloud and Data Center sector and to the Greek market where we have been operating for twenty years with a growing presence. Only in the last five years we have invested around 20 million euros in the Country and with the construction of the Metamorfosis II Data Center we confirm and strengthen our commitment”.
