Radio Frequency Systems (RFS), the global wireless and broadcast infrastructure specialist, is set to showcase its advanced portfolio of cables, antennas, and Radio Frequency (RF) components for in-tunnel and in-building wireless communications networks at “Critical Communications World 2014”, May 20-22 in Singapore.
The RFS booth (Booth D 703) will present the TETRA/LTE-ready portfolio of lowest loss RF cables, radiating cables, antennas and RF components for in-tunnel and in-building distributed antenna systems (DAS). It will also showcase the new series of axially directive radiating cables that round out the best-in-class RADIAFLEX® portfolio for in-tunnel and in-building wireless applications. These cables provide superior performance for TETRA/GSM-Rail deployments, feature RFS’ patented higher order mode suppression technique, and support commercial and essential radio services from 75 MHz to 2700 MHz.
“Our new RADIAFLEX axially directive radiating cables are specifically designed for in-tunnel, mission-critical wireless communications,” said Dr. Peter Raabe, RFS Global Product Line Director Transmission Lines and Wireless Indoor Solutions. “They are optimized to radiate signals for directive train antennas. They offer the lowest total cost solution and lowest system loss for long radiating cable runs. And they are another key addition to our complete portfolio of infrastructure solutions, which offers all the elements needed to properly deploy an effective and efficient in-tunnel network.”
The RFS booth will also display RF broadband DAS products, including aluminum and copper low-loss coaxial RF CELLFLEX® feeder cables, and in-building antennas. These are complemented by RF components for mission-critical UHF, TETRA, GSM-Rail, signaling, and CCTV multi-band and infrastructure applications, as well as ISM/Wi-Fi and commercial 2G/3G/4G (LTE) in-building and in-tunnel networks. Rounding out the exhibit is the unique 5-6GHz ISM band radiating waveguide in-tunnel solution, which is engineered to minimize total cost of ownership and meet the highest data throughput demands.
Critical Communications World 2014 will take place at the Marina Bay Sands hotel, May 20-22 in Singapore.
