Radio Frequency Systems Appoints Monika Maurer as its New President and CEO

Radio Frequency Systems (RFS), a global designer and manufacturer of cable, antenna and tower systems providing total-package solutions for wireless and broadcast infrastructure, has appointed Monika Maurer as the new RFS President and Chief Executive Officer. Monika Maurer will assume global leadership responsibilities effective immediately.

Monika is an accomplished and experienced business leader, previously acting as Chief Operating Officer of the Nokia Group and, prior to this, Chief Operating Officer of Nokia’s Fixed Networks Business Group. She has held several board member positions and will continue to serve as Vice Chair and member of the HR committee of the Board of Directors at Nokia Shanghai Bell Co. as well as a member of the board and the HR and remuneration committee at Valmet.

Monika Maurer said: “I am very excited and honored about the opportunity to join RFS as the new leader and I look forward to the engagement with the RFS customers to share more about our 5G solutions and other fit for customer total-package solution offerings.”

Starting in 1985 at Alcatel as R&D Engineer, Monika held various positions within Alcatel, including; President of Fixed Solutions Division and President of Voice Networks Division. From 2006 until 2016, Monika held several positions within Alcatel-Lucent, including Chief Operating Officer Fixed Networks Business Line, and President - Product Attached Services.

Monika holds diploma in Physics and Chemistry from the University of Stuttgart.
