As far as Indian market is concerned, Oppo has launched a single variant of the Reno 4 Pro, which comes with 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB of UFS 2.1 storage. It also comes packed with Bluetooth 5.1 dual-band Wi-Fi ac, and multiple satellite navigation systems.
While using this device, we did not face any issue as far as our daily routine activities were concerned. The device delivered a seamless performance and never faced any glitch or lag in performance. Navigating the interface felt snappy, apps loaded quickly, and multitasking was quite seamless.
The single speaker on this device gets quite sufficiently loud and it also has Dolby Atmos sound enhancement as well. Videos looked great on the Reno 4 Pro's display, and it delivers great level of brightness which managed to cut out reflections quite well.
Oppo Reno 4 Pro comes with a powerful 4,000mAh battery, which easily lasted me for nearly two days on average, with medium to light usage of the device.
This device comes with an awesome 65W Super VOOC 2.0 fast charging. This capability helps this device to get charged up to 97 percent in just 30 minutes, which is incredibly quick.
Powerhouse for Gaming
With its ultra light form factor – this device is extremely comfortable while you are playing games with it. And while reviewing this device, we played a lot of games including PUBG, Call of Duty, Asphalt 9 Legends and all these ran perfectly well with this device with great graphics performance. While we played games for long time durations – we never noticed any abnormal heating activity with this phone.
Unique Rear Camera Design
The Oppo Reno 4 Pro comes with a unique four rear camera setup – this camera system comprises of a 48-megapixel primary, 8-megapixel ultra-wide, 2-megapixel macro, and 2-megapixel depth cameras.
The camera interface for this device is quite easy to use. You can swipe through the various shooting modes on the right side of the viewfinder, and based on the selected mode, you get corresponding contextual options on the left.
The device’s primary Sony IMX586 sensor delivers great results during daylight as well as low light conditions. Details are quite good and colours are quite nicely saturated. The device also offers a digital zoom with up to 10x magnification. The wide-angle camera of this device comes in quite handy while capturing larger frame area, quite optimally.
The Oppo Reno 4 Pro holds capability to shoot videos at up to 4K 30fps, with stabilization and the ultra-wide camera can shoot up to 1080p. While reviewing the product we realized that the video quality is excellent with this device in daylight as well as in low light conditions.
