Camera System
This phone comes packed with a powerful camera system - the primary camera is the same 16-megapixel unit as on the OnePlus 5, but now it works in combination with its 20-megapixel counterpart with the same f/1.7 aperture and 27.22mm focal length.
When it comes to multi-tasking capabilities – OnePlus 5T was more than adequately fast when it came to loading multiple apps, playing videos, games etc. HD videos streamed smoothly and we couldn't feel any lag in performance at all.
The primary rear camera does a great job and delivers wonderful results in bright light as well as in difficult – low light conditions. Photos taken with this device turn out very well, and deliver amazing close-ups, capture perfect color tones, texture with a pinch of natural zing.
The secondary rear camera of this device gets started only when there's little light, but surely helps in maintaining the right balance and color combinations in pictures. On the whole – we got great result with this camera system that is second to none – especially in this price point.
When it comes to battery life – this device is a big winner. We were able to use the OnePlus 5T for a full day – filled with hectic usage activities that included, playing music, streaming videos, games including shooting of videos, uploading them to YouTube and a lot of photography, and we found that this battery is just about sufficient for this full day of hectic usage. On a lighter usage – this could very well go beyond one day.
