MTS launches MSecure, forays into remote security surveillance segment

With the launch of MSecure, MTS has become the first telecom operator in India to provide LIVE Video Surveillance & Security Solutions on its 3GPLUS network. MSecure brings MTS’ advanced 3GPLUS network together with D-Link’s expertise in providing security and surveillance solutions.

Sistema Shyam TeleServices Limited (SSTL) that provides telecom services under the brand MTS, has announced its entry in to the remote security surveillance segment with the launch of MSecure, an IP-based surveillance solution from D-Link that runs on MTS’ 3GPLUS telecom network. MTS has been working with D-Link - a leading networking player to address this segment and after a lot of work; it is ready with a one-stop, easy to use remote surveillance solution that ticks all boxes for ease of use and affordability. As per an IMS report 2011, the residential surveillance deployment market in India is estimated to be around USD 1.7 million in 2012 and is expected to grow to USD 7.1 million by 2016 with a CAGR of about 45%.

Easy Installation

MSecure in itself is an easy to use video surveillance suite, wherein one just needs to switch on the MBlaze WiFi dongle and Install the mydlink camera at the preferred location. One time configuration of the Camera with the dongle on your laptop through an Ethernet cable (comes with the solution). To access video surveillance footage, the customers just need to install the mydlink app on their smartphone/ tablet and generate a User ID and Password. The app mydlink is available at Android & iOS store. The users can also access video surveillance footage on a desktop/laptop by visiting www.mydlink.com.
