Mojo Networks, the modern WiFi platform for delivering prolific connectivity, has launched its Mojo Canvas offering, the real-time customer engagement solution for the WLAN market.

Mojo Networks will also be showcasing its new 802.11ac Wave 2 access point, the Mojo C-120, at Retail’s BIG Show 2016 hosted by the National Retail Federation on January 17-20 at Javits Convention Center in New York City.

Mojo Canvas enables retailers offering on-site WiFi to better engage with their customers in real-time, monetizing guest and free WiFi directly or indirectly with a cost-effective, easy to manage, and flexible solution that can scale across millions of locations.

Controller-based proprietary WLAN platforms fail to scale cost effectively and require custom HTML development from experienced web engineers for splash pages. Other cloud managed solutions require the same custom development or leverage third-party integration instead, complicating management and introducing costs that make it untenable for large-scale deployments.

Mojo Canvas provides three unique capabilities for guest and free WiFi:
•A single pane of glass to create and publish stunning splash pages for your WiFi users to view when connecting to your network.
•Simple integration of widgets from popular cloud services directly onto splash pages. This includes social WiFi login through services like FaceBook, Instagram, Twitter and Google+; surveys from services like SurveyMonkey; and video delivery from services like YouTube.
•Real-time engagement with mobile users on your WiFi network via SMS/MMS and ad insertion.

“In our recent study on the impact of store networks and WiFi on customer service, we found that fewer than half of retailers are taking advantage of mobile technology when connecting with customers,” said Greg Buzek, founder and president at IHL Group. “Using a cloud-managed WiFi solution makes it simple and cost-effective for retailers to engage with their users on mobile devices without forcing app installs, creating a richer experience for shoppers and stores.”

“Mojo Canvas is the market’s only full-featured engagement platform for WiFi and transforms free and guest WiFi from a cost center into a growth engine that drives top line business and creates stronger brand equity with the customer,” said Freddy Mangum, CMO at Mojo Networks. “It’s the perfect complement for brick and mortar retailers that want to deliver mobile-app-like engagement without app installation headaches, leveraging WiFi to create significant value to store profitability and the customer experience.”

Mojo Networks will be on hand at booth #4520 at Retail’s BIG Show on January 17-20 to demo Mojo Canvas. Mojo will also showcase its latest high-performance 802.11ac Wave 2 access point, the Mojo C-120, while at the event.

The Mojo C-120 is the first Wave 2 802.11ac access point with the latest Qualcomm chip, 9994, which introduces far superior wireless performance than any other Wave 2 product on the market. It will be the most price competitive cloud managed access point available, with a rich feature set specifically designed to support K-12, university campus environments, distributed enterprises and large merchandise retailers that want a reliable WiFi solution at a fraction of the cost of traditional WiFi incumbents.
