MobiKwik extends its wallet service to Mi.com

Aiming to tap the growing trend of impulse shopping by youngsters on handheld devices, Indian digital wallet MobiKwik is partnering with Chinese handset maker Xiaomi to offer the latter’s entire range of products through its mobile application.

Users of mi.com users will now be able to pay using MobiKwik app while purchasing Xiaomi products such as smartphones, Mi Router 3C, Mi Air Purifer 2, Mi VR Play, Mi Power Bank(s), audio accessories etc. Mi Fans can use the wallet on mi.com and Mi Store app to accelerate the growth of digital payments in India. This is an initiative by MobiKwik to facilitate the ease of payments among the growing consumer durable customers.

This announcement is second in line , following MobiKwik’s direct integration in Xiaomi phones that enables auto reminders and one tap phone recharge and bill payments for all Xiaomi users.

“This announcement is another deployment as part of our strategic partnership with Xiaomi. We already enabled auto recharge reminders and recharges on all Xiaomi phones in India.” said Vineet Singh, Chief Business officer of MobiKwik.
