Microsoft targets Festive Season and Debuts Lumia 830, Lumia 730 and Lumia 930 in India

Microsoft Devices has launched in India the recently unveiled Lumia 830 and Lumia 730 Dual SIM smartphones running the latest Windows Phone 8.1 operating system, bringing industry-leading imaging technology to more affordable price levels.

The company also announced the sales start of the much awaited Lumia 930 in India, plus the Lumia Denim update, which brings extra features and enhancements to existing Lumia smartphones.

The Lumia 830 captures high-quality images and videos, day or night, with a 10-megapixel PureView camera with ZEISS optics, the new Living Images innovation, Rich Recording and the thinnest Optical Image Stabilization system to date on a Lumia at 8.5 mm thin and 150 gm. It delivers the best of Microsoft with pre-loaded Microsoft Office Mobile; the latest version of Windows Phone 8.1 with Lumia Denim; and OneDrive with 15 GB of free storage, allowing content to be synced and shared easily. Lumia 830 will be available in India starting October 8, 2014, at a best buy price of INR 28,799/- in a range of colours including bright orange, white and black.

Lumia 730 Dual SIM: Built for Skype and selfies: With a wide-angle, front-facing camera; an attractive price tag; and slim, compact style, the Lumia 730 Dual SIM is ideal for Skype calls and selfies. The front-facing, wide-angle, 5-megapixel camera is great for Skype video calls, letting people share more of the world around them or bring more family and friends into a call. It combines a slim, vibrant style with powerful performance to create an uncompromised smartphone experience. Alongside Dual SIM 3G support, the Lumia 730 provides outstanding personalization brought by Windows Phone 8.1. Lumia 730 will be available in India starting October 6, 2014, at a best buy price of INR 15,299/- in green, orange, white and dark grey.

Lumia 930: A Powerful 2.2GHz Snapdragon quad-core processor delivers more from content like apps, games, the internet and integrated Microsoft services like OneDrive and Microsoft Office. Standing apart from all the others, it blends the striking good looks of recent Lumia devices with an elegant and unique design all of its own; gorgeous aluminium frame, metallic accents, and a nicely curved polycarbonate back with vibrant colour choices of bright orange, black and white. Lumia 930 will be available in India starting October 15, 2014, at a best buy price of INR 38,649/-.

All three devices will come with an additional 1 Terabyte of cloud storage on OneDrive, free for the first 6 months and chargeable thereafter at a minimal INR 125/- per month

The Microsoft Screen-Sharing for Lumia Phones HD-10 lets people beam any content from their smartphone to an HDMI-enabled screen, easily and without content restriction - be it photos, videos, music, premium streaming movies, games, and internet. With the smooth mirroring of everything on the phone on to a big screen, it can also be used for work. With a simple tap, people can work with documents and presentations and share them with a group. Easy to set up, it works simply by tapping any NFC-capable smartphone the device to set up the connection and start mirroring. It will be available in India in before Diwali, at an MRP of INR 5,999.
