FTS, a global provider of billing, core network and MVNO solutions, has announced that QBoCel, an MVNO and MVNE operating on Telefonica Mexico’s network, has successfully implemented FTS’ turnkey MVNO and MVNE solution.

Using FTS’ MVNO platform, QBoCel can now independently configure and deploy personalized, application-based plans. This enables the rapid delivery of new services to market, supporting QBoCel’s fast growth and enhancing its customers’ experience.

At the heart of FTS’ MVNO solution is Leap™ Billing, which provides real-time, convergent charging, billing, policy control, and customer and partner management. FTS' turnkey implementation at QBoCel also includes core network, messaging, voicemail, IVR and other network elements from multiple vendors.

Looking to the future, QBoCel plans to introduce personalized services to different sectors of the Mexican market as well as to launch and support new MVNOs by expanding its MVNE back-office and network operations.

“The response to our new offering has been very encouraging and we can see there’s a genuine opportunity for subscribers to benefit from our innovative and personalized services,” said Francisco Hita, QBoCel’s CEO. “Throughout the implementation process FTS demonstrated professionalism, expertise and commitment to our success. We look forward to working with them over the long term as we execute our growth plans.”

“QBoCel is great example of how FTS can provide MVNOs and MNVEs with a customized range of services to meet its specific needs,” said Avi Kachlon, FTS’ CEO. “This is a significant milestone for FTS as we strengthen our presence in Latin America. We look forward to supporting QBoCel as it expands its offering to MVNE services.”
