Mario Di Mauro resigns as CEO of TIM, Elisabetta Romano appointed as new CEO

TIM announces that Mario Di Mauro is leaving the position of Chief Executive Officer of Telecom Italia Sparkle.

The Board’s thanks go to Di Mauro for the significant managerial contribution he has made in recent years within the Group and in particular in the Sparkle company, together with its best wishes for upcoming professional challenges.

Mario di Mauro does not hold any TIM shares.

TIM has announced that the Board of Directors of Telecom Italia Sparkle, has co-opted Elisabetta Romano as Chief Executive Officer of the Company. Elisabetta Romano holds 70,000 ordinary TIM shares.

Sparkle is TIM Group’s fully owned Global Operator, first international service provider in Italy and among the top ten worldwide, with a proprietary backbone of around 540,000 km of fibre spanning from Europe to Africa, the Americas and Asia.

Leveraging its global IP, Data, Cloud, Data Center, Mobile Data and Voice Platforms, Sparkle offers a full range of ICT solutions to Internet Service Providers, OTTs, Media and Content Players, Application Service Providers, Fixed and Mobile operators as well as Multinational Enterprises. Its sales force is active worldwide and distributed over 34 countries.
