In its bid to strengthen its offline presence in India, China based LeEco is looking at having its own exclusive stores – spread all across the country. Such stores can elegantly feature some of LeEco’s next generation product innovations and further cement its connect with the end user community in India.
The company is look at having around 1000 such stores by the end of year 2017 - covering major cities such as New Delhi, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Chennai Pune, Hyderabad etc.
Atul Jain, COO, Smart Electronics Business, LeEco India, explained, “We do have plans to have our own exclusive stores in India. We will be having from 500 to 1000 such stores by the end of year 2017. Such stores can have all our product innovations and help our customers to have better understanding of our offerings,” he added.
It is interesting to note that as part of its strong offline connect strategy – LeEco has more than 8000 such stories across China – christened LePar – such stores create a unique offering for the customer to have a better understanding about the company’s offerings.
LePar was launched in 2015 in China - mainly to serve as an offline channel for sales and after-sales service of LeEco’s Super TVs, but quickly expanded to sell LeEco smartphones, smart devices and other products related to LeEco’s key business segments.
LeEco India could have a similar strategy of having exclusive stores that can further stimulate end customer understanding about the organization and its innovative offerings for the Indian market.
