JMA Wireless Extends DAS Lineup to Maximize in-building Performance in Small Footprint

With an aim to enhance in-building performance for the operators, JMA Wireless, a global innovator of mobile connectivity solutions has unveiled its MIMO (Multiple Input Multiple Output) antenna which is part of its Omni product portfolio.

Showcasing some of its latest product offerings, JMA Wireless is also set to participate at the upcoming CommunicAsia 2015 happening between June 2 - 5 in Singapore.

The new Omni-MIMO version includes two 698-2700 MHz X-Pol antennas neatly under one office-class radome and is PIM Certified at up to 20 watts per antenna. With its recessed ceiling mount, it provides the perfect solution for high-performance indoor DAS (distributed antenna system).

“In-building mobile communications is one of the greatest areas of growth with approximately 70 percent of mobile calls and 80 percent of data sessions occurring indoors,” said Todd Landry, Corporate Vice President of Product and Market Strategy at JMA Wireless.

The Omni-MIMO Antenna (model# R727) is a cost effective way to ensure in-building mobile communications. This new addition to the portfolio enables full Multiple Input Multiple Output omnidirectional patterns for enhanced data throughput. The R727 supports LTE, CDMA, UMTS, GSM, WLAN, WiMax and WCS technologies as well as neutral host providers. Its design fits naturally into business environments with only 1.9” X 7” of its surface exposed below the ceiling.
