According to market sources close to the telecom channel community, Reliance ‘Jio Prime’ subscriber base hovers around 20 million mark today. This is a small subscriber number, compared to its overall subscriber base of over 100 million Jio users.
“With only few days left for Jio Prime – the company is trying to offer best offers even today. I feel that the overall Jio Prime base would not be more than 20 million subscribers today,” informs one of the biggest telecom channel partner from Mumbai on conditions of anonymity – Mumbai is considered to be the heartland of Reliance Jio.

It is important to note that ‘Jio Prime’ subscription is priced at INR 99. The subscription fee can be completely waived off by using Jio Money application. When a user recharges with the help of this app – it will earn user a cash-back sum of INR 50.
Additionally, INR 50 will be given back once a Prime user recharges its account for INR 303 or more. This way, the company is able to pay back INR 100 worth back to the user account. The last date for getting a Prime subscription is March 31.
