ICT COMM Vietnam 2016 – a Great Start to Push ICT Enablement

ICT COMM Vietnam has played a critical role towards bringing together ICT enablers, manufacturers, suppliers, solution providers and enterprise community stakeholders - all under one roof.

At a time when telecom operators, ISPs, communication service providers and all the other stakeholders in the communications space are looking forward to creating better synergy in order to enable ICT for bettering lives of common people – ICT COMM Vietnam 2016 which happened recently in Hanoi, Vietnam has acted as a great start to become an important agent for this ICT driven enablement.

Organized by ADPEX, the event saw a number of local as well as global organizations showcase some of their latest offerings as part of their participation.

Commenting on the event, Do Thang Hai, Minister of Industry & Trade, Vice Minister, “Vietnam ICT COMM 2016 is a good opportunity for manufacturers and suppliers in the industry to set up long term cooperation, promote their own business and introduce the most advance technologies which can go a long way towards improving the capabilities of enterprise and SME segment.”

Speaking on the event’s importance, Dr Phan Tam, Minister of Information and Communications, Vice Minister, said, “Vietnam ICT OMM is an important trade promotion activity to connect foreign and domestic enterprises and manufacturers to discuss, exchange and seek partners, expand market and strengthen long term cooperation and investment,” he added.

Speaking about the importance of Vietnam market, Bekir Aydinoglu, Director, VietFiber said that it is a strategic market for VietFiber. “We have a manufacturing unit based in Vietnam and hence this is a strategic market for us. The fiber optic products that we are manufacturing here, are getting consumed by our global customers,”

VietFiber showcased its latest offerings around fiber optics segment - as part of its participation at ICT COMM Vietnam in Hanoi.

Talking about the huge potential of Vietnamese market, Nguyen Quang Ngoc from Vietnam based South Telecom, said “There is huge potential in Vietnam market today, especially for services around VoIP, cloud based IP PBX, IP Call Center solutions, UCC solutions, Voice Conference solutions, Web Conference solutions and SMS marketing solutions, “ he added.

Talking about the cutting edge offerings being driven by VNPT, Nguyen Trung Kien, Director, Product Management Department, VNPT Technology said that the company is making all the right moves to ensure that customers get benefit of the latest technological innovations and trends happening in this space. “We are offering only the best to our customers today,” he added.
