Huawei: All Cloud Network Can Fuel Digital Transformation

Furthering its commitment towards enabling digitization for customers in India and enabling them to tap into new digital markets, Huawei India held the 3rd edition of its Broader Way forum in New Delhi with the overarching theme of ‘Digital Transformation with an All Cloud Network’.

The marquee event was inaugurated by Manoj Sinha, the Honourable Minister of State (I/C) for Communications and Minister of State for Railways, Government of India, who was flanked by Shri R S Sharma, Chairman, Telecom Regulatory Authority of India and Aruna Sundararajan, Secretary, Department of Telecommunications, Government of India, in the presence of Himanshu Kapania, Managing Director, Idea Cellular Limited and Jay Chen, CEO, Huawei Telecommunications India.

The forum highlighted the significance of end-to-end cloudification and the deployment of an All Cloud strategy as the most fundamental step for organizations in their quest towards digital transformation. The forum further reiterated Huawei’s commitment towards becoming an advocate, promoter, and leader in building All Cloud Networks, as well as helping customers achieve business success in an increasingly digital world.

The event brought together Government and industry elites, technology experts, opinion leaders and partners to exchange their viewpoints on building All Cloud networks that can help operators and enterprises in realising their true digital potential and unlock numerous opportunities for growth, cutting across all verticals amongst industries. Enterprises today are entering an intelligent world where many things have sensors, most things are connected, and more things are intelligent. An all-cloud network provides the foundation to enable enterprises’ and telecom sector’s digital transformation.

Launched originally in February 2012 at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, the Broader Way Forum is considered to be a platform for discussions to propel the ICT industry forward. Taking forward its legacy of opening new doors of opportunities through dialog around latest ICT innovations and their implementation, the panel discussions and key note addresses at the 3rd India Broader Way Forum established that cloud network lays the foundation of digital evolution.

Attendees learnt that “All Cloud” is a process through which the ICT industry becomes increasingly open and achieving this requires the close collaboration of all industry players. Orchestrating this, Huawei, in the spirit of openness, collaboration and shared success, reiterated its willingness to partner with all members of the industry ecosystem to build All Cloud Networks of future today.

At the India Broader Way Forum 2017, Huawei also released its white paper titled “Digital Transformation with an All Cloud Network” which further underpins the significance of an All Cloud strategy towards business success, and highlights key considerations and way forward for stakeholders in India to help them build All Cloud enabled digital capabilities to transform the country into a truly digital economy.
