Honor 5C carries a price tag of INR 10,999
Honor 5C is the latest offering from Huawei’s Honor brand. This is a good budget smartphone that delivers on the promise of powerful performance. It comes with Hisilicon Kirin 650 SoC, packed with 2GB of RAM.
Look and feel
The Honor 5C gives you an incredible feeling of holding excellence in performance and this smartphone has got the looks as well. a close look at the phone and you will realize that the sides of the phone follow a standard layout, with the power and volume buttons on the right, hybrid SIM tray on the left and Micro-USB port and speaker on the bottom.
This smartphone has a 5.2-inch full-HD IPS LCD screen, covering 68.7 percent of the front. The screen of this smartphone is fairly bright, sharp and more than adequate for regular daily usage.
Honor 5C has a fingerprint sensor on the back, which can be used to access locked apps and the safe, apart from unlocking the phone. While reviewing this phone we realized that this is one of the most accurate fingerprint sensors in the market today.

The Honor 5C comes with Kirin 650 SoC, which is manufactured by Huawei's own subsidiary Hisilicon. It uses the 16nm FinFET+ process for manufacturing, which delivers better performance and battery life for the smartphone.
The smartphone also comes with 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage (expandable by up to 128GB using a microSD card), FM radio and a 3000mAh battery. The Honor 5C runs on Android 6.0, with Huawei's EMUI 4.1 on top. One of the most interesting features in this UI comes from its ‘magazine lock screen’, which changes the lock screen background to a new picture every time you turn it on.
Superb Camera Functionalities
Honor 5C comes with a 13-megapixel primary camera and an 8-megapixel secondary camera. Both these cameras can record video at up to 1080p, and the rear camera comes with a single-LED flash. The camre is quite feature rich and delivers innovative photography modes HDR, slow-motion video, time-lapse video, panorama, light rail etc are present.
The innovative settings menu in this smartphone lets one to control object tracking, smile capture, self-timer, and resolution. There's also a quick switcher between photo and video, along with the typical toggles for front and rear camera switching, the flash, and filters.
Performance
This smartphone delivers decent performance for the price it is asking. This phone has got great battery life as well. While reviewing the phone, we worked on the device for more than 10 hours, and it performed well.
