Customers in Alaminos, Bay, Calauan, Cavinti, Famy, Kalayaan, Liliw, Los Banos, Luisiana, Lumban, Mabitac, Magdalena, Majayjay, Nagcarlan, Paete, Pagsanjan, Pakil, Pangil, Pila, Rizal, San Pablo, Santa Cruz, Santa Maria, Siniloan, and Victoria will begin to experience better and wider connectivity within the third week of March 2021.
“We have raised the quality of our service and increased our bandwidth for our customers possible by downgrading another spectrum. For them, however, to enjoy a better mobile experience they need to upgrade their 3G SIMs into 5G-ready 4G LTE SIMs and use 4G LTE capable mobile devices,” said Joel Agustin, SVP of Program Delivery at Globe Telecom.
Globe expects to modernize the rest of the province-- to include Sta. Rosa, Calamba, and Cabuyao-- by the fourth week of March 2021.
Similar moves to make the most of its remaining assets are also set to be implemented in more parts of Cavite, Cebu, Davao del Norte, and Davao del Sur. Globe is targeting to complete its network migration to 4G LTE in the four provinces within the next two months.

Shifting to a 5G-ready 4G LTE SIM card is free at all Globe Stores and customers will retain their old number.
