T-Systems is expanding its cooperation with PTC, a specialist in product development and IoT. Deutsche Telekom's business customer unit now offers PTC's entire product and solution portfolio to customers in the automotive, aviation and manufacturing industries worldwide.

T-Systems will present the offer in detail at the PTC Forum Europe on November 28 in Stuttgart. "The expanded partnership will enable us to provide targeted support for our customers' product development. The spectrum ranges from classic product lifecycle management and systems engineering to data analysis and AI-based applications," explained Andreas Greis, responsible for customer-specific system integration at T-Systems. T-Systems uses the example of a digital twin of a brake to show exactly how this works. "Here, analytics and artificial intelligence also enable machine-based evaluations and decisions," said Greis. "This closes the loop between the physical world of real data and the digital world of engineering and simulation. On the other hand, we are adding AI-based application cases to this cycle."

The PTC product range supported by T-Systems includes Creo (CAD), Windchill (PLM), Integrity (ALM) and ThingWorx (IoT). T-Systems' integration experts ensure that these solutions run smoothly and efficiently in the mostly heterogeneous IT landscapes of user companies.

With this global partnership, T-Systems can support its customers directly at their development and production sites and offer cross-border delivery models. As a manufacturer-independent system integrator, T Systems also links PTC solutions with those of other PLM providers with its own PLM products if required.
