Finland’s Varaani Works, Videocon Partner to Launch ‘VCloud’ in India

Varaani Works, a Finland based IT company has entered into a strategic partnership with Videocon Intelligent Security Pvt Ltd from India (part of the Videocon Group) to address the personal cloud storage solution demand in India.

Targeted to address the data storage needs of Enterprise, Retail and Individual customers such as Hospitals, educational institutions, Small to medium IT based companies, data centers etc; firms and individuals engaged in photography, music etc the solution called ‘VCloud’ is based on Varaani’s VCH-1 cloud hub. The low cost solution offers data storage as per customer need ie 1TB to 10TB, flexibility of local storage, personal cloud solution, automated encryption, continuous backup, remote access and sharing & access from any device.

The solution will be commercially available across India shortly. The official launch of VCloud will be announced at the Mobile World Congress 2017 in Barcelona, Spain.

The deal followed a sales lead that was generated with the help of Finpro at the 2016 Mobile World Congress in Barcelona.
