As a great platform for global ICT professionals, Expo Comm Russia 2016 has established itself as a single stop destination to drive ICT excellence for the region - including participation from China.
On April 20th the “Russian-Chinese Dialogue” round table took place.
From the Chinese side, the round table was attended by representatives of Jiangsu government and the directors of four special economic areas. Further 10 directors of large Jiangsu based companies, specialized in the field of production of network equipment and fiber-optics products, telecommunication services, system integration, management systems, cloud technologies and virtualized solutions joined the round table.
The Russian delegation was headed by the President of ASTRA, Sergey Makedonskiy.
Among the Russian participants were representatives of Rosavtotrans OJSC, Absolut Bank, IXcellerate.ru, RVI GROUP, Forrester Research, Cominfo Consulting, Grotech Business Media and the Chinese-Russian Trade Chamber.
Participants of the Dialogue had a fruitful exchange about their spheres of interest and discussed plans for further development of mutually beneficial cooperation. All participants are looking forward to establish this Dialogue meeting at the upcoming EXPO COMM RUSSIA in 2017.

International ICT Congress, uniting an exhibition, a conference and special activities for its participants.
The aim of the EXPO COMM business-platform is to demonstrate the latest domestic and foreign developments to the exhibition visitors, to create a discussion on the most important and actual topics for participants and guests of the conference and to allow visitors and participants of the event to generally plan beforehand and conduct maximum business meetings and activities using the system of business contacts.
Sergey Khokhlov, Director of Department of Radio Electronic Industry of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia noted in his welcome address that activities, conducted within EXPO COMM RUSSIA will enable its participants to demonstrate their high technical level and increase compatibility of products.
The Director of Department of Information Technologies of the Moscow City Government, Artem Ermolaev informed, that the Department shares targets of EXPO COMM RUSSIA in developing the ICT market and they are pleased about the event.
Ermolaev highlighted the significance of the key conference topics devoted to development of “City Infrastructure” – “Smart City”, “Intellectual transport system”, “Internet of Things”.
Executive director of APKIT, the Association of Computer and Information Technologies Enterprises, Nikolay Komlev, President of Russoft NP, Valentin Makarov and the President of ASTRA, the Association of Strategic outsourcing, Sergey Makedonskiy all jointly confirmed the importance of conducting EXPO COMM RUSSIA for the development of the domestic software market and establishing a dialogue between its Russian and international players and also the state.
Edgars Puzo, Head of Committee for Information Technologies and Telecommunications of Association of European Business, AEB, expressed confidence that the full agenda of EXPO COMM RUSSIA 2016 helped experts from different countries to discuss innovation technologies and solutions.
In the plenary session Vladimir Efimushkin , Deputy General Director of FGUE -Central Science and Research Institute of Communication pointed out, that main regulations for electronic communication development in Russian Federation are necessary on a medium-term perspective.
Vice-Director of the Department of Regulation of Radiofrequencies and Communication Networks of the Ministry of Telecom and Mass Communications of Russia, Michail Bykovskiy stated that the Ministry is not planning to increase regulation for OTT -services. The Ministry is counting on cooperation of content providers with carrier service providers to actively develop over-the-top (internet television) rapidly.
Russoft NP’ session on preliminary results of work with consumers on “Software import substitution” program was moderated by the President of the association, Valentin Makarov. The discussion was attended by representatives of Diasoft Platform LLC, RAIDIX, ALT Linux, RELAX GC, Skolkovo Fund, VideoMost, StarNet Alliance.
