Epsilon, a privately owned global communications Service Provider, now delivers on-demand access to Cloud connectivity through Microsoft Azure ExpressRoute in Singapore.
The relationship with Microsoft expands Epsilon’s local Cloud connectivity capabilities and supports Singapore’s growth as a Cloud hub for the region.
Service Providers in Singapore can use the Infiny by Epsilon on-demand connectivity platform to instantly connect their enterprise customers to Azure. Bypassing the public internet, Epsilon’s Cloud Connect service enables a direct connection to a world-leading Cloud Service Provider in a secure environment that promises speed, reliability and scalability. Users can rely on Infiny to give them access to the connectivity as they expand and adopt their Cloud services.
“We are a Singapore-based business and we’re proud to be supporting the Cloud locally, regionally and around the world. Our work with Microsoft supports our vision for simple and powerful solutions that directly benefit users,” said Jerzy Szlosarek, CEO at Epsilon. “Cloud adoption in Asia-Pacific is growing at a phenomenal rate and Singapore is a major global hub for Cloud services. It is critical that we continue to grow our ecosystem to deliver agile networking solutions that enables our partners to service the growing enterprise demand for Cloud applications.”
Azure ExpressRoute creates private connections between Azure data centres and infrastructure on an enterprise’s premises or in their colocation facilities. It does not rely on the public internet and enables the delivery of greater reliability, faster speeds and lower latencies. Azure can also be directly connected through Infiny in other global interconnect locations across Epsilon’s network fabric including Tokyo, London, Chicago, Dallas and Ashburn.
“It is great to build on our existing relationship with Epsilon to add new connectivity options across the Asia-Pacific region starting with Singapore. The Cloud market in Asia-Pacific is diverse, dynamic and growing rapidly. We look forward to expanding our Microsoft Azure ExpressRoute connectivity partners across the region and working with Epsilon to support Cloud growth locally and across the globe,” said Ross Ortega, Partner PM Manager, Microsoft Azure Networking at Microsoft Corp.
Infiny is a Software-Defined Networking (SDN) platform that gives users on-demand connectivity across Epsilon’s Global Interconnect Fabric which includes more than 600 Service Providers, Cloud Service Providers and Internet Exchanges (IXs). Partners can provision a suite of on-demand connectivity services via a web-based portal, APIs and iOS or Android mobile apps. Users can choose from a range of services from port-to-port, port-to-Cloud, port-to-IX, SIP Trunking and Inbound services, last mile, DIA and SD-WAN services.
Epsilon is continually adding new Cloud Service Providers and IXs to the Infiny platform to offer its partners options for connecting end users globally.
