eBay.in offers iPhone 6 at Rs. 55,954 in India

eBay.in, OLX.in and BorderLinx.com offer different ways to purchase iPhone 6 via different online models in India

While Apple India is yet to announce its official date of launching its latest edition of iPhone in India, there is a lot of activity centered around iPhone 6 on the eCommerce side of business in India.

Ecommerce major, eBay.in has started offering premium smartphone iPhone 6 at price starting at Rs. 55,954. This iPhone listed at eBay.in comes along with 6 months of seller warranty including hardware and software.

The vendor listing iPhone at EBay is promising October 8 as the estimated day to deliver the product without any extra shipping cost.

OLX.in offers iPhone 6 at INR 30,000

On the other hand, another online ecommerce site in India OLX.in is offering iPhone 6 for INR 30,000. The Ludhiana based reseller has posted pictures of Apple’s iPhone boxes at OLX.in.

Continuing its iPhone legacy, Apple unveiled its latest smartphones – iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus on September 9, 2014 and with this level of online availability of iPhone 6, the company might look at launching the product in India by Diwali to cash on the festive season and make its latest smartphone, the best gifting item in the smartphone category.

In addition to Indian eCommerce websites, there are other ways that people can look at while ordering products such as iPhone, through the online channel.

BorderLinx.com is one such website which offers its users to order latest iPhone in India while actually purchasing it in US or UK. The website’s home page suggests how easy it is to ship iPhone 6 from US or UK.

Amazon’s global website showed that iPhone 6 is selling for around USD 750, including shipping cost, in US which amounts to about INR 46,000.

Both iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 plus offer unique style statement and come with 8 megapixel camera and 1.2 Mp front camera. Both these smartphones support 2G, 3G and 4G networks. These phones are available in multiple color hues with three versions in terms of storage: 16 GB, 64 GB and 128 GB.

As per the latest figures from IDC, Samsung is the clear market leader with 25.2 per cent market share of the global smartphone market, it is followed by Apple having 11.9 per cent market share and Huawei comes in third with 6.9 per cent market share during the second quarter of 2014.
