Convergence Africa World 2015, to bring the best of Telecom, Broadcast, IT and Digital Media to Africa

Recognizing Africa as the next global economic growth factory, the Convergence Africa World 2015 expo is coming to Oshwal Centre (Parklands) Nairobi, Kenya from 17 - 19 June 2015.

The annual international series of Convergence India expos are created and staged by Exhibitions India Pvt Ltd, a leading trade promotion organisation from India.

Exhibitions India Group’s mission has been to build a meaningful interface between governments, businesses, media and academia, etc., through the platform of international trade expos. In India, the group has been an integral part of the development of the telecom, broadcast and IT sectors, and has successfully hosted 23 editions of the Convergence India series of expos in New Delhi.

The inaugural “Convergence Africa World 2015 expo” is designed to inspire, inform, and connect the continents telecom, broadcast and ICT community. The annual Convergence Africa World series of expos, are expected to play a catalytic role through the display of technologies, products and services; creating networking opportunities with world leaders; and through the knowledge sharing conference sessions and workshops.

Growth in Africa’s technology space is rapidly changing the continent’s macroeconomic landscape. Most African governments are embracing wide-ranging communication solutions for voice, data & video. Internet access and IT is a crucial plank of their development plans.

With this sectors dynamic growth, the Convergence Africa World series of expos come at an appropriate time to augment the telecom, broadcast and digital industry of the continent. With the unique combination of conferences, workshops and technology display, the expo provides an opportunity to experience, understand and discover various aspects of the ICT industry.

Convergence Africa World 2015 expo will also witness country pavilions by India and Pakistan.

This event is being jointly developed by Exhibitions India Group and AfriEXPOS, a Nairobi based expo organizer.

Another interesting feature of the expo will be the business matching sessions, which will provide the perfect opportunity to network with industry bellwethers to establish new relationships.

To further promote emerging companies in the region, an “Innovation Zone” at the expo will have 25 start-ups showcasing their products and services.
