CommProve, a network service assurance and passive monitoring solutions provider is set to deliver an LTE network monitoring capability upgrade to the existing 2G/3G performance monitoring system installed at Dhiraagu in the Maldives.
The Commprove platform will provide capabilities to allow protocol analysis, end-to-end tracing, troubleshooting, and KPI Reporting, as well as several new Customer Experience Management (CEM) modules for LTE.
“Dhiraagu has the largest 3G and 4G LTE network in Maldives, and is the only mobile operator that provides 3G services to all inhabited islands within the Maldives,“ said Mohamed Musad, Director of Networks at Dhiraagu. “We’re already moving rapidly to extend 4G services to those customers, and it is important that we continue to deliver the high quality service that our customers expect. That is why we are investing in CommProve’s service assurance and CEM solutions, to allow us to ensure subscribers are getting the best possible connectivity, reliability and bandwidth from our network.”
The new 4G passive monitoring solution extends the existing CommProve 2G & 3G core network monitoring solution at Dhiraagu into the LTE environment. The new capabilities will provide an unobtrusive passive monitoring system with real-time analysis capabilities, powerful troubleshooting capabilities and insights that enable operators to make quicker decisions that maximise profit and protect revenues.
“We are starting to see strong demand for our 4G service assurance and CEM solutions, and we are very pleased to be able to assist Dhiraagu with this capability extension,” said Jean-Claude Martinez, CommProve CEO. “CommProve has been working with what is now known as ‘big data’ since 1996, and our passive monitoring systems are already exceptionally scalable, handling tens of billions of network events daily, supporting 300 million subscribers around the world, and we are now starting to extend the value of that extreme data processing capability into new areas like CEM and revenue assurance.”
CommProve will be exhibiting at Africacom, Africa’s largest telecoms conference, in Cape Town, South Africa, from 17-19 November 2015.
