Cloud Adoption: RD Corporation Selects Globe Business G Suite

Globe Business, the enterprise information and communications technology (ICT) arm of Globe Telecom, enables RD Corporation (RD Corp), one of the largest, premier conglomerates in the Visayas and Mindanao region, with another cloud-based solution—G Suite for Business.

To date, RD Corp is Globe Business’ biggest G Suite client in the VisMin region with more than 900 licenses. With G Suite, RD Corp employees can use intuitive technology like Google+ Hangouts at work, plus they can create, share, and work on files with the whole team in real-time with Google Docs, Sheets, and Slides, and store them all in the cloud with Google Drive.

Powered by Google Cloud, G Suite allows users to communicate faster and more conveniently with Gmail. It provides storage for up to 30 GB of email per user, advanced spam filtering, lightning-fast message search, integrated text, and voice and multi-person video chat.

At the same time, employees can create and share project website and intranet pages without any programming skills or technical support through Google Sites, connect to the right people, ideas, and information with Google+, and manage business critical information with Google Vault retention, archiving, and eDiscovery tool.
