Cellwize, the Self-Optimizing Network (SON) solutions provider announced it has strengthened its growing team in the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region with several strategic hires starting from Olivier Guibert, the General Manager.
As Asian operators roll out LTE, and face increasing direct and indirect competition, Mobile Network Operators are looking to SON to strengthen network agility and deliver seamless user experience. To achieve this, a number of APAC Tier-1 operators have turned to Cellwize for its robust and field-proven SON solutions.
Cellwize's APAC General Manager, Olivier Guibert is familiar with the network performance challenges experienced by Mobile Network Operators (MNOs) in the region. In his role, Guibert will be working closely with the region's key operators to ensure that they can successfully address their growing network and business challenges.
Cellwize is a pioneer in delivering value through SON, shifting focus from network optimization to the value the network can generate for the end-user. Olivier's recent experience with Data Analytics and CEM solutions at The Now Factory (TNF), an IBM company, strongly positions him to head Cellwize strategy in the region.
Before TNF, Guibert held strategic positions at Alcatel-Lucent and Comverse where he led the growth of their APAC business. Guibert added: "Network quality is critical when it comes to the customer experience and that's key to operator growth in APAC. With Cellwize' technology and expertise, MNOs can boost customer experience and deliver on personalized value to their subscribers while addressing short and long term network challenges".
"Asia-Pacific is a high growth market and a key area of focus for us due to the ever increasing challenges MNOs face in this dynamic region" said Ofir Zemer, CEO at Cellwize. "Cellwize is a focused company with strong customer traction in EMEA. We are committed to further expand into APAC, replicating our success in applying our SON methodology to address the network challenges in the region."
