RADWIN, the global provider of sub-6 GHz broadband wireless solutions, has announced that CALIFORNIA INTERNET (www.CAinternet.net) - rated the best ISP in California - has deployed the RADWIN 2000 D+ Point-to-Point radios which deliver unprecedented capacity of 750 Mbps.
CALIFORNIA INTERNET is using the D+ radios in 5.8 GHz for backhaul between tower sites and RADWIN 5000 point-to-multipoint systems.
Skyler Ditchfield, Chief Executive Officer, CALIFORNIA INTERNET: “We’ve been using RADWIN PtP and PtMP since 2014 and love these radios. When RADWIN 2000 D+ was launched in February 2015 - we immediately started placing orders. We’ve since installed the RADWIN 2000 D+ PtP radios in our network and they operate non-stop in the toughest urban environments in LA, Orange and Ventura counties where there is massive interference and obstructions to line-of-sight. The D+ radios provide us with high capacity backhaul for extensive ranges of up to 25 miles. We’ve built the most resilient, high-capacity 5GHz network ever with RADWIN.”
Dennis Stipati, RADWIN General Manager North America: “We’re excited that CALIFORNIA INTERNET, the leading ISP in California, is using our high-capacity D+ radios to fulfill their connectivity needs. With our extensive portfolio of carrier-grade point-to-point and point-to-multipoint solutions, ISPs and service providers in the US and around the globe are delivering unprecedented capacity with utmost reliability.”
